mcp-doctor is a zero-configuration CLI tool that auto-discovers MCP server configurations from various AI development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Claude Desktop. It tests server connections, flags security issues such as leaked secrets, and benchmarks latency to ensure optimal performance. The tool can also run as an MCP server itself, allowing AI assistants to diagnose their MCP infrastructure on demand. It supports JSON output for integration with CI pipelines and dashboards.
