Description

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects LLMs to Discord so they can read messages, send messages, list servers/channels, and manage roles and channels programmatically. It supports server and channel discovery, accepts both names and IDs, and provides robust error handling and validation. The server is designed to keep user control and security in mind — it requires a Discord bot token, appropriate bot permissions, and explicit approval before sending messages. It is intended to be run locally or alongside Claude for Desktop via a configured MCP entry.
