A sample, self-contained MCP-enabled tavern server that demonstrates agent-to-agent communication and tool use (filesystem) for interactive D&D-style agents.
Access and modify local files via MCP filesystem tools to implement features like 'future sight', persistence, or shared artifacts.
Discover, register, and communicate with other agents using the A2A protocol for multi-agent narratives, mind-reading, or coordination.
Be rapidly generated from templates with preconfigured stats, skills, and action systems to prototype interactive character behaviors.
This repository provides a portable demo of a tavern environment where A2A agents (characters) interact and use MCP tools (notably a stdio-based filesystem server) to extend their capabilities. It includes an agent templating system for quickly generating new character agents, examples of mind-reading and future-sight capabilities, and scripts to launch either MCP-backed or direct-file scenarios. The design is intended for prototyping multi-agent collaboration and tool-augmented agent behaviors without external services.
