An MCP integration that lets Cursor AI read and programmatically modify Figma documents via a TypeScript server, a Figma plugin, and a WebSocket bridge.
Inspect a Figma document and selection state to make context-aware edits or provide design summaries.
Create, move, resize, style, or clone nodes programmatically (rectangles, frames, text) within a Figma file.
Export nodes as images or run custom JavaScript inside Figma to perform advanced, automated modifications.
This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration between Cursor AI and Figma, enabling agents to inspect documents, query selections, create and modify nodes, and export assets. It consists of a TypeScript MCP server, a Figma plugin, and a WebSocket server that bridges communication. The MCP exposes tools for reading document/selection state, creating shapes and text, styling and layout operations, component instancing, exporting images, and executing arbitrary Figma code. It is designed to streamline automated design tasks and programmatic manipulation of Figma files from Cursor.
