Description

This MCP server allows Claude Desktop to retrieve up-to-date cryptocurrency information (by symbol) and compute portfolio values using the CoinMarketCap API. It provides example portfolio reporting and is designed to be run locally with Node.js. Configuration requires a CoinMarketCap API key and adding the built server to Claude Desktop's MCP configuration. It is useful for conversational agents that need live market data and quick portfolio summaries.
