Description

The Crossref MCP Server exposes Crossref's bibliographic metadata through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface. It supports searching works by query (keywords, title, authors), retrieving detailed metadata for a work by DOI, and searching journals and funders. This enables AI agents and desktop assistants to programmatically discover, cite, and enrich scholarly content. The server uses the Crossref API and recommends providing an email for better API access priority.
