Description

Context Canary provides a token counting MCP server that integrates with Claude Desktop and Claude Code to monitor token usage in real-time. It uses the tiktoken tokenizer to accurately count tokens and broadcasts updates via WebSocket to a floating overlay app that visually warns users as they approach context limits. This helps users save important information before context compaction occurs, improving user experience and memory management.
