Description

MCP CLI is a modular CLI that connects to MCP servers and orchestrates LLMs and tools with support for streaming responses, reasoning visibility, and concurrent tool execution. It defaults to a local-first configuration using Ollama and the gpt-oss reasoning model for privacy-focused use without API keys, while also supporting cloud providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and Groq. The tool offers chat, interactive shell, and Unix-friendly command modes, plus configuration management, server discovery, and rich terminal UI features to support automation and agent workflows.
