Description

CodeAlive MCP exposes CodeAlive's Context Engine to AI clients via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling semantic code search, project-wide consultation, and indexed repository listing. It integrates with many agent clients (Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, VS Code, and others) over HTTP or stdio (Docker), and can be run remotely or self-hosted. The server provides tools like get_data_sources, codebase_search, and codebase_consultant to help agents find relevant code and understand large codebases more efficiently. This reduces guesswork, speeds up agent workflows, and improves answer quality for code-related tasks.
