Description

This project provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server enabling Claude to interact with Figma either through a Figma plugin (for full UI-driven creation and manipulation) or directly via the Figma REST API (for retrieving and exporting files). It supports running in HTTP or stdio modes for Claude Desktop integration and exposes a set of tools for creating frames, components, text, interactions, and exporting images. The plugin approach allows in-app editing and richer creation capabilities, while the API approach enables headless file access and exports using a Figma API key.
