Description

CiteAssist is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that exposes tools to fetch BibTeX-formatted citations from CiteAs and Google Scholar. It offers two main tools: get_citeas_data (retrieve a BibTeX entry for a DOI, URL, or keyword) and get_scholar_data (search Google Scholar and return BibTeX-formatted results). The project includes instructions for integrating with Claude Desktop and Smithery, plus guidance on building, publishing, and debugging with the MCP Inspector to ease development and deployment.
