An MCP server that lets Claude (or other LLM-equipped agents) control Arduino microcontrollers — including reading sensors, moving motors, and uploading code — without the user writing or manually uploading sketches.
Control Arduino hardware (turn LEDs on/off, move motors, read sensor values) directly from a chat interface.
Generate, compile, and upload Arduino sketches automatically so users don’t have to write or deploy code themselves.
Prototype or debug embedded systems via conversational workflows using a desktop LLM bridge (e.g., Claude Desktop + uv).
This MCP server integrates with desktop LLM apps (example: Claude Desktop) and a small helper tool (uv) to expose Arduino control as agent-capable actions. It lets an LLM write, compile, and upload Arduino code, and interact with attached hardware (LEDs, motors, sensors) directly from chat. The goal is to enable rapid prototyping and hardware control through natural language, removing the need for users to write or manually upload Arduino sketches.
