Description

This MCP server exposes tools for listing courses, posting announcements, viewing rubrics, retrieving student enrollments, and accessing assignment and submission data via the Canvas API. It is intended to be run locally (Node.js) and integrated into agents like Claude Desktop using MCP server configuration. The server centralizes common Canvas operations so agents can automate classroom workflows, reporting, and rubric analysis. It requires a Canvas API token and can be pointed at any Canvas instance URL.
