Description

This project provides an MCP server paired with a browser extension to expose the current browser session to agents. It offers callable tools such as extracting the current page as Markdown, appending CSS styles (e.g., enable dark mode), and searching browser history. The server can be launched via an MCP configuration (example uses npx @djyde/mcp-browser) and the extension can be built for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. It enables agents to access live page content and perform UI modifications or history queries for automation and summarization tasks.
