Description

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to let assistants call Brave Search for web and local/place queries. It provides two tools (brave_web_search and brave_local_search) that agents can invoke to retrieve up-to-date search results. The server is intended for integration with MCP-compatible clients (e.g., Claude Desktop) and requires a BRAVE_API_KEY to make API requests. It is lightweight, self-hostable, and documented for development and testing with unit and integration tests.
