Description

BioMCP implements the Model Context Protocol to let language models and agents query protein structure knowledge without embedding that data in model weights. It provides tools for active site analysis (by PDB ID) and for searching proteins related to diseases, and integrates with the RCSB Protein Data Bank. The server includes guidance for running an MCP inspector and for integrating with Claude Desktop, and is intended to support future agent-driven biomedical R&D workflows.
