Description

This MCP server exposes BangumiTV endpoints (subjects, episodes, characters, persons, calendar and search) so agents can query and navigate relationships between entries, cast, characters and episodes. It can be run locally (example uv invocation included) and integrated with MCP clients such as Claude desktop; an optional BANGUMI_TOKEN environment variable enables access to restricted/R18 content. The project is an open-source, community implementation that simplifies building agents that need structured Bangumi data.
