Description

This project runs an MCP server that connects Anthropic Claude to the AWS Cost Explorer API so you can ask natural-language questions about your AWS spending. It provides built-in tools for EC2 spend analysis, service spend reports, and detailed cost breakdowns by day, region, service, and instance type. The server is extensible (examples show adding a Google Search tool) and is intended for interactive exploration, visualization, and integration into Claude Desktop via MCP. It requires local AWS credentials and Anthropic API access for full functionality.
