Description

This MCP server exposes a tool to transcribe audio files through OpenAI's speech-to-text functionality, intended to run as part of an MCP manager. It is easy to install, configure via environment variables (OPENAI_API_KEY, optional OPENAI_BASE_URL and OPENAI_MODEL), and run as a separate server process. The tool supports saving transcriptions to disk and specifying the audio language with ISO-639-1 codes. It is useful for automating audio-to-text workflows inside agent pipelines or multi-component systems.
