Description

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that interfaces with the arXiv API to provide structured paper results. It supports complex search queries, retrieval of papers by arXiv ID, and discovery of the latest papers within categories, returning results as MCP resources suitable for agent consumption. The server is designed for easy integration with agents and tools (example: Claude Desktop) and includes options for sorting, filtering by category, and limiting result counts.
