This repository implements a FastMCP server for remotely controlling the Apple Music app on macOS using AppleScript. It exposes commands for playback control (play, pause, next, previous), searching the library, playing specific songs, creating playlists, and retrieving library stats. It is lightweight, integrates with MCP clients (example configuration shown for Claude Desktop), and requires macOS with the Apple Music app installed.

Search the Music library for tracks whose names contain the given query. Returns a list of tracks formatted as "Track Name - Artist".
