An MCP server that lets agents read and modify Android app preference files (shared preferences) via natural-language commands and MCP clients.
Read all user preference values from an Android app's preference file to summarize current configuration.
Modify or toggle specific shared-preference keys (add, change, or delete) on connected Android devices without manual file editing.
Enumerate connected devices, installed apps, and preference files to help developers inspect or modify app state from their IDE or MCP-enabled client.
This MCP server connects MCP-compatible clients (IDE plugins, Claude Desktop, Docker tools) to the Android Preference Editor library, enabling conversational edits of app preferences without manually editing files. It provides tools to read, add, change, and delete preferences, as well as list connected devices, installed apps, and preference files. The server can be run via Docker or npx and is intended to streamline real-time preference management in development workflows.
