Description

This MCP server wraps the CData JDBC Driver for Amazon Athena to expose Athena data through a simple Model Context Protocol interface. It allows large language models like Claude Desktop to retrieve live data from Amazon Athena without writing SQL queries. The server is local, read-only, and designed for easy setup and integration with AI clients. It supports querying tables, columns, and running SQL SELECT queries via JSON-RPC or AI clients.
