Description

This project provides an MCP-compatible server wrapping the Alpha Vantage API so agents and tools can query market and stock data via standard MCP interfaces. It supports a default stdio server for local agent integration and a streamable HTTP server with optional OAuth 2.1 authentication for secure access. Built-in Prometheus telemetry and an AWS Lambda stateless deployment pattern enable observability and scalable production use. Easy to run via uvx, pip, or from source, and includes examples for integrating with clients like Claude Desktop.
