Description

Active MCP is an open-source Rails engine for integrating Rails applications with AI assistants using the Model Context Protocol. It provides generators and base classes to create MCP tools, resources, resource templates, and prompts, supports direct HTTP or standalone MCP server connections, and includes authentication/authorization hooks. The gem is designed to make it easy to share structured data and binary resources with AI agents while letting developers control visibility and input validation.
