Description

MCP Academic Researcher is a full-stack application that integrates an Angular frontend, a NestJS API gateway, and a Python orchestrator to provide a seamless research assistant experience. It leverages the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to manage subprocesses for papers, notes, and citations, and uses a local Ollama LLM for inference. The system supports searching academic databases like arXiv and Semantic Scholar, managing notes and citations, and streaming responses for interactive user queries.
